Abstract
This research entitled "Critical Discourse Analysis of Norman Fairclough on Reporting on Sexual Harassment of Central KPI Employees in Tempo.co Media Edition 1 September 2021", was compiled because of the phenomenon of cases of sexual harassment reporting on men, namely Central KPI employees. This phenomenon has been widely discussed in several online media, including the onlinemedia Tempo.co. This study aims to find out how the discourse that develops in male masculinity is related to the news in articles published by Tempo.co. This study uses an explanatory qualitative research method, using Norman Fairclough's theory of critical discourse analysis. This AWK model emphasizes three dimensions of text, namely text (microstructural), discourse practice (mesostructural), and sociocultural practice (macrostructural). The results of this study, first from a microstructural point of view through three levels, namely representation, relation,and text identity, it can be concluded that journalists and researchers also take sidesin cases of sexual harassment that befell MS male employees of the KPI Pusat to be shown to the public. Second, the mesostructural aspect through two levels, namely the production and consumption of texts, news texts that have been produced by Tempo.co journalists are sourced from trusted and accurate parties. The sources obtained are the results of the investigation of the chairman of the Central KPI commission with MS in the interview session. aimed at the general public and loyal readers of Tempo media. Third, the macrostructural aspect through three levels, namely the situational, institutional, and social levels, news texts uploaded by journalists as a result of the situation of events that occurred, and seeing what media institutions and institutions look like in responding to the case in a news report, and social factors as well. have an influence on the victim to support her mental and physical health in living her daily life after experiencing a case of sexual harassmentin her scope of work.
