Abstract
This study aims to describe the forms of verbal violence contained in the film A Perfect Fit. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach using the textual analysis method of Alan McKee. Researchers analyzed scenes and dialogues containing verbal violence according to Weiner, Zahn and Sagi. The results of this study indicate that the forms of verbal violence contained in the film A Perfect Fit are verbal violence in the form of psychological violence, sexual violence and functional violence. The forms of psychological violence found in several scenes are violence in the form of yelling, cursing and insulting, assuming the dignity of others, and being rude to others. Sexual violence in the form of harassing others and functional violence in the form of dominating. Keywords: verbal violence, film, textual analysis.
