Abstract

Mobile banking is a form of Bank Jatim's strategy and commitment in providing digital to the public in orderto facilitate transactions orfind banking information that can be accessed anytime and anywhere. The purpose of thisresearch wasto determine the function of Public Relations of Bank Jatim as a communication facilitator in socializing mobile banking JConnect. Thisresearch literature reviewusesthe concept of four-step PR strategy planning and systems theory and boundary spanning. The research method used is a case study qualitative research approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by conducting interviews, observations and documentation. The results of this research indicate that the function of the PR communication facilitator of Bank Jatim in socializing mobile banking applies the concept of planning a four-step PR strategy, namely Define Problem, Planning and Programming, Taking Action and Communication, and Evaluating Programs in JConnect socialization activities. The first step, Public Relations of Bank Jatim defines the problem using situation analysis to create information or content. The second step, Public Relations of Bank Jatim establishes public goals and objectives in the socialization of mobile banking JConnect. The third step isthe strategy used by Public Relations of Bank Jatim in creating and conveying information to the public by creating content based on trends current. And finally, in evaluating activities, Bank Jatim Public Relations makes user responses to be used as references for Bank Jatim activities and developments in the future.
