Abstract

Powder metallurgy is a continuously evolving method of manufacturing processes that can achieve the final component shape by mixing the powders together, for example aluminum with a titanium booster. Which has benefits for the aviation industry and the military, especially airplanes. This research uses a compaction variation of 5000, 5500, 6000, 6500, 7000 Psi with a holding time of 10 minutes and a Sintering temperature variation of 450 ̊C and 500 ̊C with a holding time of 90 minutes. Material identification using density test, rockwell B hardness test. Al-Ti alloy (92%, 8%) and weight 3 grams. From the results of the Al-Ti 8% study, it was found that the greater and the greater the value of density and hardness. The highest density value is at 6000 Psi compaction with a value of 2,981
