Abstract

The highway is a land transportation infrastructure that is very important in sustaining the economic life of a region, because the highway has a supporting role in the continuity of the distribution of services and goods. The Wewewa Utara highway is a road that connects several sub-district areas with the city center which makes this road a very big influence on the economic life of these areas. The Wewewa Utara Highway is also the main road that connects Wepaboba Village and Wenamba Village, this road is also a road that passes through the forest area. Therefore the activity of vehicles that pass this road almost never stops and also because of its location causes the unstable soil structure which can cause road damage. So it is necessary to do an analysis of the road damage using the PCI method, where due to the many levels and levels of damage that occur on this road so that the degree of damage can be known and a plan of treatment can be given. After analyzing the damage condition of the Wewewa Utara Highway with a length of 2.2 Km, it is in a condition of severe damage with a value of PCI =32,04 and is included in the scale of reconstruction improvement.
