Abstract
Service is the main element in achieving an organization's success. In other words, library is synonymous with service because there is no library if there is no service activity. Library services include all service activities to users related to the utilization, use of library collections in an appropriate and timely manner for the benefit of library users. So the quality of service is a benchmark used to assess service from a different point of view. To find out how the level of satisfaction in measuring something requires an effective method in solving a problem. This study aims to determine how much influence the quality of service at the Rungkut Surabaya library is reflected in direct evidence, officer reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy for library visitors. Based on a case study in the Rungkut library in Surabaya, this research study aims to determine the results of the service quality of librarians in increasing user satisfaction at the Rungkut library in Surabaya. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative, with data collection in the form of interviews and observations. From the research results indicate that the quality of service in the library Rungkut Surabaya needs to be improved. The indicators of the ability of officers and the clarity of officers have not been proven satisfactory for visitors. Keywords: Service, Service Quality, and Community Satisfaction
