Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the relationship between self esteem and social support to Post Power Syndrome. This research using the data’s collection method such a scale of Post Power Syndrome, scale of self esteem, and scale of social supporting. The subjects of this research are pensioner of public officer, private agent officer, and soldier pensioner in Surabaya. Data analyzing using the statistic non-parametric data of Wilcoxon. Based on the data analyzing shows that it has negative correlation between the self esteem and Post Power Syndrome (value of Z = -4,572 , co-value p = 0,000 (p<0,01)) ; and it has negative correlation between the social supporting and Post Power Syndrome (value of Z = -4,969, co-value p = 0,000 (p<0,01)).
