Abstract

The Ngagelrejo Village Office is the smallest government unit on the same level as the village. Ethics plays an important role in realizing and developing excellent services, including services in Ngagelrejo Village. Excellent services are carried out as well as possible and apply the principle of excellent service that results in community satisfaction. In an effort to realize excellent service in government agencies, it is necessary to apply optimal ethics so that community satisfaction is realized with the services that have been carried out as well as possible. This study aims to determine administrative ethics in realizing excellent service in Ngagelrejo Village. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, with seven people as informants consisting of four employees of Ngagelrejo Village and three people from the community. The results of this study use indicators of administrative ethics according to Harbani Pasolong which consist of: efficiency, effectiveness, service quality, responsiveness, and accountability which are then carried out by exposing the data and information obtained by the researcher. Based on these five indicators, the administrative ethics of employees in Ngagelrejo Village has been running well. There is a relationship between ethics and excellent service, where with ethics employees can provide services that can be said to be good (ethical) to the maximum and as best as possible, so that people can feel satisfied. Factors that influence excellent service need to be applied to support the application of ethics in a public agency. As for these factors, namely individual factors which include the quality of work results and the ability to complete work on time, it can be said that it has been realized well in Ngagelrejo Village. And on the system factor related to the simplicity of the procedure, Kelurahan Ngagelrejo adapts to the existing statutory regulations, namely Perwali No. 4 of 2022. Where it can be concluded that the existing service procedures are still not simple and become a challenge for Ngagelrejo Village to overcome them.
