Abstract
Gresik Regency has quite a lot of ex-mining land, one of the reasons for this large ex-mining land is that there is the largest cement factory, namely Semen Indonesia Gresik, but the positive impact of a lot of ex-mining land is not comparable to the negative impact generated by this ex-mining land which is left unattended. just like that without any follow-up from the Gresik government until it became a lake for example Telaga Giri Wana Tirta which was originally only a reservoir used for industrial purposes in the area. Meanwhile, the Gresik local government has issued a regional regulation concerning the Development of the Master Plan for Tourism Development (RIPK) in which it states that the first is to improve existing facilities, prioritize vehicle parking areas, secondly, to rejuvenate existing facilities. giri wana tirta. This is done because some existing land functions can interfere with the circulation and view in this lake so as to reduce the potential that exists in the Giri Wana Tirta Lake. does not support the resort tour that is here The design of this building uses a Neo Vernacular Architectural Approach by elevating the local culture of Gresik, namely Damar Kurung.
