Abstract

Facilities for people with social welfare problems (PMKS) in the city of Surabaya as a form of social concern and also a form of responsibility for the Surabaya city government with the PMKS problem in the city of Surabaya. the problem of social welfare of the population is increasing from time to time. So far, there are Keputih Liponsos and other social institutions in Surabaya that have accommodated and cared for PMKS, but according to information from the mass media and news media on the internet, their number is increasing year by year, which makes social institutions and Liponsos no longer able to accommodate PMKS. . This research aims to find innovations and solutions to increase capacity both in terms of buildings and also the capacity of educational and training support facilities for PMKS to be able to relieve them of the social problems they experience so that they can return to society. The type of Social Social Responsibility theme that is applied is about mediating marginalized communities and also raising the dignity of humanity which is the white Liponsos character in Surabaya, and is complemented by the presence of MSMEs that can train PMKS to be independent and further increase their self-confidence. Rehabilitating, accommodating, training and educating are the main activities in Liponsos Keputih, by looking for innovations and solutions that can meet their needs is an important mission of the Redesign of PMKS Facilities in Liponsos Keputih.
