Abstract

Gedangan Sub-District is located in Sidoarjo District, located in the south of Surabaya City, this causes an increase in the number of residents which increases every year. Based on the Sidoarjo Regency population census in 2020 issued by the Sidoarjo Regency Central Statistics Agency, there were 2,082,801 people, the population continues to increase by around 3.5% from the last 10 years, with a population of 1,941,500 people in 2010. affect the development of the number of motorized vehicles that pass on a road such as on Jalan A. Yani, Gedangan District, Sidoarjo Regency. The method used in this research is to use the Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI 2014). By conducting a traffic survey of the number of vehicles that pass and the side barriers that are carried out for 5 days, namely Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, it can be calculated the size of the road capacity, the traffic volume of side barriers, the level of saturation to the level of road service. From the results of the study, it was found that the largest traffic volume occurred on Friday for the Sidoarjo direction of 2808.15 skr/hour in the afternoon at 16.00-17.00 and for the Surabaya direction on Monday it was 2816 skr/hour in the morning at 07.00-08.00. This 4/2T type road has a road capacity of 3282.16 skr/hour for the Sidoarjo direction with a degree of saturation of 0.86, and 3136.98 skr/hour for the Surabaya direction with a degree of saturation of 0.90.
