Abstract

At the end of 2019 the international world was faced with health problems with the emergence of the Covid-19 virus. The COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia is still ongoing. Indonesia with the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases, which is 2,983,830 people (Lesmana & Aranditio, 2021). Construction projects are very dense activities, so they still have a level of risk for being a place for the spread of the covid-19 virus which is very influential on the compliance factor of construction workers to the application of Occupational Health & Safety. Due to the outbreak of the covid-19 virus, in construction projects there are new changes from normal life, namely the entry and exit of the workforce must be minimized. The purpose of this study was to identify the factors that influence the compliance of construction workers with the implementation of occupational health and safety in the OJK KR.4 East Java building construction project. To be able to find out the value of these factors, questionnaires will be distributed to workers. The data obtained will be tested for validity, normality test, multiple linear regression test, and coefficient of determination test using IBM SPSS Statistics 24 software for Windows. In this study, it was found that the factors that affect the compliance of construction workers with the implementation of occupational health and safety in the OJK KR.4 East Java building construction project are the first factors of Occupational Health & Safety. attitudes and behavior and the second is the COVID-19 pandemic factor (Implementation of SMK3).After calculating the percentage of the t-count value of the attitude and behavior variable of K3 workers (X2) which has an influence of 60.23% on the compliance of construction workers on the application of Occupational Health & Safety in the project. This was followed by the COVID-19 pandemic factor (implementation of SMK3) which had an effect of 39.76%. So that these two factors greatly affect the compliance of construction workers on the application of Occupational Health & Safety in the project.
