Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of incentives and work discipline on the performance of employees of the East Surabaya Surabaya Fried Chicken Restaurant. In this study, researchers took respondents as many as 37 employees from the cashier, the waiter, and the kitchen. Using quota sampling techniques in sampling and this study uses quantitative research methods with primary data obtained from the questionnaire. The hypothesis in this study is that incentives affect Employee Performance, Work Discipline influences Employee Performance and Work Incentives and Discipline simultaneously influence Employee Performance. Data analysis techniques used in this study were the validity and reliability instrument test, F test and t test and multiple linear regression analysis. The classic assumption tests used are normality test, heteroscedasticity test, linearity test, and multicollinearity test. The indicators used in this study are valid with a significance of 0,000 (<0.05) and reliable (cronbach alpha> 0.60). The classical assumption test results fulfill the requirements: Data are normally distributed, Both variables are free from multicollinearity symptoms, No heteroscedasticity occurs, and meet the linearity test for Incentive variables. The F Test Result states that Work Incentives and Discipline simultaneously influence Employee Performance with a significance level of 0,000 (<0.05). T test results state the effect of Incentives on Employee Performance of 0,000 (<0.05) with t arithmetic 4.501 and the influence of Work Discipline on Employee Performance of 0,000 (<0.05) with t arithmetic of 7,493. The results of the Multiple Linear Regression indicate that the effect of Incentives on Work Discipline was the most significant, namely 0.471 with a significance of 0,000. While the results of the coefficient of determination test show the effect of incentives and work discipline on employee performance by 75.6% (0.756).
