Abstract

Tembang is a cultural heritage passed on by previous ancestors in Java, especially in the East Java region. Song is a literary arrangement of supplication to God Almighty. This study seeks to examine how the public's perception of the Song Tembang Wahyu Kolosebo. This study uses Edmund Husserl's Phenomenology method and Symbolic Interaction theory to determine how the public's perception of the Song Song Wahyu Kolosebo. The results of this study indicate that the community's perception of the song Song Tembang Wahyu Kolosebo is that the perception will affect human views, the type of message conveyed is only analyzed in half or incompletely, thus giving rise to a different meaning betweenperception of one another.an interesting study to conclude that in fact the theme of "Song of Wahyu Kolosebo" is a spiritual dimension that emphasizes the relationship between fellow living beings and the relationship between living things and God Almighty.
