Abstract

Merauke Regency is an area affected by the Corona virus so that all service activities, both government and private, are imposed on certain scales. The control of this extraordinary event is implemented at the Merauke Fisheries Service by carrying out work activities but still observing the health protocols that have been recommended by the government. Control is very important in the Merauke fishery office as one of the SKPDs that has the duty and function to provide maximum service which is indeed required to deal directly with the community, in this case the fishing community. The problems that occur provide the basic reasons for this research to be carried out. This study focuses on how the process of controlling the performance of the Merauke Fisheries Service employees during the Covid 19 pandemic, and how the results of the Merauke Fisheries Service employees' performance during the Covid 19 pandemic. The type of research used by the researcher is a qualitative research type with the type of research used is descriptive type. . The data analysis technique used is the data obtained in reduction, data presentation and then draw conclusions. Data analysis technique is the process of collecting data systematically to facilitate researchers in obtaining conclusions. The provisions taken in making a decision from the regional head greatly affect the effectiveness of a job at the Merauke Fisheries Service. Concrete examples that have an immediate impact are Reduction of Working Hours, Implemented WFH (Work From Home, Budget Reduction, Reducing Employee Comfort at Work. And the strategic targets that have been set by the Fisheries Service of Merauke Regency in 2020 can be achieved, with the 2020 targets and realizations of achievements total production is 18,695,984 Kg and the area of Freshwater Cultivation is 34.60 Ha with a work predicate of "High" which is 77.37%. Thus, the implementation of programs and activities carried out by the Fisheries Service of Merauke Regency refers to the Revenue and Expenditure Budget. Regional Expenditures have been realized thus it can be concluded that the performance of the Merauke Regency Fisheries Service employees is declared Effective.
