Abstract
SUMMARY Competition in the business world is increasingly competitive, especially with the entry of a free trade system in a country, one of which is Indonesia. The scope of activities of PT. Ramayana Lestari Sentosa, Tbk. namely general trade by meeting the needs of consumers such as clothing, accessories, bags, shoes, cosmetics and other necessity products. Business competition is no longer only on a national scale, but also on a global scale. The increasing needs of society are a result of unlimited human needs followed by technological sophistication, so that the development of the world is increasing to meet the needs of a growing number of people and development in today's world. The number of people in today's society prefers shopping through online even though shopping for basic daily needs and lifestyle needs. The financial performance of a company shows the level of effectiveness and efficiency of the company. Good management is very necessary in the survival of a company. The better the company's management, the better the company's performance. This study aims to see the development of the financial performance of the company PT. Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk. in 2016 to 2018 using financial ratio (liquidity ratio, solvency ratio, activity ratio, and profitability ratio). Every company must have financial statements that are used as a basis for determining or assessing the company's financial position. The importance of financial statements and related financial information therein need to be analyzed so that it can make information in financial statements more meaningful and can support decision making. Ratio research results to PT. Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk. based on liquidity ratio has very good criteria from 2016 to 2018. Liquidity ratio that PT. Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk. in a liquid state or can be said PT. Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk. can guarantee all shorterm debt qith current assets available. It means that PT. Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk. very good on paying off debts that are due soon.The rotation activity ratio has been very good since 2016 to 2018, while the total assets turnover ratio from 2016 to 2018 has unfaroble criteria. Activity ratio the ratio of debt to assets solvency and the ratio of debt to equity of PT. Ramayana Lestari Sentosa, Tbk. has very good criteria from 2016 to 2018. Profitability ratio at PT. Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk. have pretty good criteria in 2016 to 2017, but 2018 it will improve to be good.
