Abstract
A collage student has responsibilities attached to him. The responsibility is in the form of demands to complete the tasks given by the lecturers with all the procedures and deadlines that have been determined. The demands that must be resolved can trigger students to feel pressured and burdened. The feeling of pressure and burden caused students to experience stress so that their assignments could not be completed properly. However, if the student has the ability to humor (sense of humor), then it can change the stressful and stressful situation to become more relaxed, fluid and fresh. Thus students can complete their assignments as a form of responsibility inherent in themselves. This study aims to determine the relationship between sense of humor with stress on students. The research method used was using a quantitative approach with 54 research subjects. The data collection instrument used was a scale of sense of humor and a stress scale on students. The data analysis technique used in analyzing the results of this study is the Pearson correlation technique with the help of the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 23 for Windows program. From the analysis results obtained by the correlation coefficient of -0,629 with the significance of p = 0,000 (p <0.001), meaning that there is a negative relationship between sense of humor with stress on students.
