Abstract

Occupational safety and health management system (SMK3) is part of the overall company management system in the context of controlling the overall company management system in order to control risks related to work activities to create a safe, efficient and productive work accidents. The implementation of SMK3 which is well implemented will be related to the reduction in work accident rates. With SMK3 is protection system for workers to minimize and avoid themselves from the risk of moral or material loss, loss of working hours, as human safety and the environment that can later support the improvement of workforce performance. Salvation is basically the need of every human being and the instinct of every living thing. With the current labor conditions high for every individual in doing work. So the company plays a big role in every worker who does work in the company environment. So that rules made in law No. 13 of 2003 concerning manpower also said that in article 87 “ every company is obliged to implement an occupational safety and health management system that is integrated in the company management system”
