Abstract

The Surabaya City Regional Tax and Financial Management Agency is located at the Surabaya City Government Office, which is located at Jalan Jimerto No. 25-27, Ketabang, Genteng, Surabaya City, East Java is an agency that has the task of assisting the Mayor in carrying out supporting government affairs which are the authority of the Region and the task of assisting. The BPKPD agency has the function of managing regional income and managing regional finances in the city of Surabaya. The Hotel and Restaurant Tax is a tax object that is able to maximize the Regional Original Income (PAD) of the City of Surabaya. This study aims to determine and determine the strategy for collecting Hotel and Restaurant Taxes in order to increase Regional Original Income (PAD). In the implementation in the field, this research takes primary data by conducting interviews and documentation. This study uses comparative analysis as a strategy to determine tax revenue collection. The type of research that will be used is using qualitative research methods with a case study approach.
