Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self efficacy and resilience when compiling a thesis for students. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a positive relationship between self-efficacy and resilience when compiling a thesis for students. The research subjects were 124 people. Sampling using incidental sampling. Methods of data collection using a scale of self-efficacy and resilience. The requirements in determining the analysis between the independent variable and the dependent variable must show normal and linear, therefore the data analysis method in this study uses Pearson Product Moment using SPSS version program facilities. Based on the calculation results, the coefficient value of rxy = 0.765 is obtained. P = 0.000 (p < 0.01). The results show that there is a very significant positive relationship between self-efficacy and resilience when compiling a thesis for students. The higher the self-efficacy, the higher the resilience and vice versa, the lower the self-efficacy, the lower the resilience. Keywords: self-efficacy, resilience
