Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between Secure Attachment and Independence in 10-Year-Old Children. This study uses a quantitative method with the proposed hypothesis is that there is a positive relationship between Secure Attachment and Independence in 10-Year-Old Children. That is, the higher the level of independence of the child. On the other hand, the lower the Secure Attachment, the lower the independence of the child. Subjects in this study is students and students of SDIT Permata Surabaya aged 10 years who opened 51 children. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with instruments in the form of a Secure Attachment scale and an Independence scale. The analysis used includes normality test and linearity test to test and prove the research hypothesis. Data analysis in this study used the Moment Product Correlation technique with the help of SPSS varsi 25.0. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship with a significance value of 0.000, which means the hypothesis is accepted. And the Pearson Correlation value shows a number of 0.494 which is between 0.41-0.60 values, it can be said that the level of strength of the relationship between X and Y variables has moderate strength. The Pearson Correlation value of 0.494 is positive, indicating the direction of the variable relationship is positive.
