Abstract
PT Telkom as the best ISP (Internet Service Provider) service provider in the face of competition with competitors has a strategy in conducting promotions. Personal selling is one of the marketing communication strategies used by PT Telkom Regional Division V in attracting consumers of IndiHome Surabaya. The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze how personal selling was a marketing communication strategy in attracting IndiHome consumers' interest which was carried out by PT Telkom Regional V Division. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study, namely personal selling is a marketing communication strategy that is very effective in attracting consumers of IndiHome. Personal selling is done by door to door and open table. Door to door is where sales will go directly to potential customers. While the open table, consumers will come to the sales at the stand that has been provided.
