Abstract

ABSTRAK Tindakan perundungan seksual di Indonesia saat ini kembali menjadi perbincangan masyarakat karena munculnya pemberitaan yang membahas tentang apa yang terjadi pada pegawai Komisi Penyiaran Indonesia dengan lima orang yang bekerja dalam satu instansi yang sama. Pemberitaan tersebut menuai pro dan kontra sehingga menjadi incaran media untuk mengungkap permasalahan itu, hal tersebut memberikan daya tarik penulis untuk meneliti pemberitaan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis analisis framing model Robert N. Entman. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah berita pada media Kompas.com Edisi 3 September 2021. Tinjauan ini menggunakan analisis dokumen yaitu mencari informasi tentang hal-hal atau faktor-faktor penting seperti buku, makalah, serta berita yang ada. Setelah melakukan analisis data mengenai pemberitaan Dugaan Pelecehan Seksual Pegawai Komisi Penyiaran Indonesia di Kompas.com dengan menggunakan Analisis Framing Model Robert N. Entman dan menggunakan teori konstruksi realitas media serta dari beberapa berita yang telah diambil maka hasil dari penelitian ini yakni Kompas.com bersikap netral terkait kasus pelecehan seksual ini dengan memberitakan sesuai realitas yang ada dan tidak menyudutkan salah satu pihak bahkan sebelum surat terbuka itu viral di media sosial. Kompas.com berhasil menggiring pembaca atau khalayak publik untuk menanggapi secara positif dan negatif dengan headline-headline yang berada di Kompas.com mengenai berita perundungan seksual di Komisi Penyiaran Indonesia.
