Abstract

This research was conducted in the city of Surabaya with the aim of analyzing the influence of tax socialization, service quality, tax knowledge, perceptions of personal financial conditions, awareness, and individual behavior on land and building taxpayer compliance in Surabaya. This research uses cluster sampling method and primary data with survey method using a questionnaire distributed to land and building taxpayers in the city of Surabaya as many as 400 respondents. Data analysis used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the AMOS Version 24 program. The results of this study prove that the socialization of taxation, service quality, tax knowledge, awareness, and individual behavior has a significant effect on the compliance of land and building taxpayers (PBB) in Surabaya. Meanwhile, the perception of personal financial conditions does not significantly influence the compliance of land and building taxpayers in Surabaya. In addition, the socialization of taxation, service quality, knowledge of taxation, perceptions of personal financial conditions have a significant effect on the awareness of land and building taxpayers in Surabaya, and tax socialization, perceptions of personal financial conditions and awareness have an effect on the behavior of individual land and building taxpayers. city of Surabaya. But the quality of service and knowledge of taxation do not affect the behavior of individual land and building taxpayers in the city of Surabaya.
