Abstract

In this study, the company experienced problems not usually meeting the demands of consumers according to the schedule that had been set. So that the company will suffer losses due to the acquisition of less than optimal profits. So the company needs a production capacity plan so that production meets consumer demand. The problem experienced by UD Etika Jaya is that it cannot meet consumer demand because the company's production capacity is not comparable with the required capacity. Rought Cut Capatity Planning (RCCP) is a capacity planning method that serves as a comparison of the required capacity and available capacity within the company, this Rought Cut Capatity Planning (RCCP) method also contains a comparison of proposals that there are two work centers that experience a lack of production capacity at the center smoothing and painting work are recommended in overcoming existing problems. The results of this study are to provide proposals from the analysis then carried out capacity planning proposals in the form of additional overtime hours at the centering work, oven, pressing and adding machines at the refining work center and painting production and workload completion at work centers that experience a lack of capacity.
