Abstract
Heat is one of the causes of reduced isolation resistance on transformers, so that the transformer experiences noncommunication One method to find out whether there is an imbalance in the transfomator is by Disolved Gas Analys and Temperature Rize. Data will be obtained from the method and the causes of gas on the transformer. In this test, calculating the calculation of iron losses and copper losses, data on temperature rise will be obtained in order to simulate the gas content in the transformer and then analyze the cause of gas at the transformer The manufacturing process often causes cavities in the material. The cavity is usually filled with gas / air with a lower breakdown voltage than solid insulation in the black. Every time there is a discharge in the cavity, the charge is transferred from one side of the cavity to the side where the potential difference in the cavity decreases. When the gas / air in the cavity experiences failure, then the surface which is facing it immediately becomes a cathode and anode. Some electrons will hit you with sufficiently strong energy. The same for the bombardment to tear the chemistry in the insole. the positive ionic kathoda can cause damage with a temperature increase and result in local heating of the transformer
