Abstract

The aims of this study is to analyze tourism and hotel company that related to several policies carried out by the government. This study is useful for the consideration of investors before investing. This study uses descriptive quantitative research design. The population in this study are all tourism sub-sector companies and hotels that go public. The sample selection in this study uses the Purposive sampling method with the criteria determined by the writer. The data source of this study is by accessing the official BEI website. Next, the data is processed using the method of ratio analysis with the stages of the process, the first is conduct a review of the company's financial statements, the next step is calculate the liquidity ratio, activity, solvency, and profitability, then conduct analysis, and the last is draw the conclusions. The results of this study is each company experiences instability in the ratio value and tends to be good at liquidity and solvency ratios, on the other hand in the activity ratio there are several companies that are still not good. In the profitability ratio, all companies are still not good. So that it can be concluded that companies experiencing better performance improvements related to government policies are PANR, INPP, JIHD, PNSE, and SHID companies. Thus, it can be suggested that investors better assess the company for the overall ratio. For the company should better utilize its assets to get sales and net income.
