Abstract
This study aims to analyze the Influence of Large and Medium Industries Against Labor Absorption in Gresik Regency at the time of research 2007 - 2016. This research started from the writer's observation on the absorption of Manpower in Gresik Regency from year to year experiencing changes either increase or reverse decrease. The results of this study indicate that large industries have a significant influence on the absorption of labor in Gresik Regency and for the industry is having a significant effect on employment in Gresik Regency. The importance of the government's role in maintaining good employment through a series of policies and regulations relating to the world of work and the equitable distribution of economic growth as a picker of the need for labor itself.
