Abstract

This study describes the process of organizational communication in order to control conflict in the management of Wisata Bahari Lamongan. In this research, the organizational communication process is seen from the perspective of vertical communication and horizontal communication as well as the concept of 4 functions of communication organization consisting of information, instruction, persuasion, and integration function. In controlling conflict in the management that includes prevention and resolution of conflicts, be carried out effectively and efficiently according to the theory written by the researchers. It proves that controlling conflict in the organization should be based on the vertical communications, horizontal communication and the concept of four functions that apply to all members Management in accordance with existing structural authority. This research uses a qualitative approach and the type of research is descriptive. The data collection techniques through by interviews, observation and documentation. Followed by the data analysis techniques through by the data reduction, presentation data and conclusion drawing. Leaders, division heads, and all employees are required to know how the correct vertical communication to the information and messages created in the management to be effective and appropriate. Occupants of divisions or units that are structurally aligned contributed affect the communication process within the management organization, the horizontal communication in posisiton as organizational communication processes to maintain the relationship and ties down the ladder upwards structural organizational communications. The concept of the four functions performed by the management of Wisata Bahari Lamongan synergized well, Digging issues, instructs the appropriate authority and needs, to persuade back into the team more solid and healthy and forming integration should be synergized to all players in the organization that are in the management of Wisata Bahari Lamongan ranging from leader to employee according to the authority of the prevailing function becomes one of the main keys of Wisata Bahari Lamongan management who can control conflict effectively and efficiently
