Abstract

This thesis is about a study of Humbert’s pedophile. The statement of the problems are Humbert’s life before having a pedophileand Humbert’s life after having a pedophile. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze Humbert’s pedophile. The approaches that the writer uses in this thesis are both intrinsicand extrinsic approach.The first chapter of analysistells about Humbert’s childhood.He meets Annabel. Their first meeting brings them to the serious relationship and through many romance experiences that they ever had. But when Annabel dies, Humbert becomes a frustated man, and because of it he changes to be a man whois obsessed with the little girl. But finally, he changes immediately when he meets with one little girl who has similar figure like Annabel that is Lolita. The second chapter of analysis, tells about Humbert’s life after having a pedophile. He finds ways to solve his nature of pedophile. By passing many romances with several women. He can cover it and looks like a normal man. Humbert struggles to find his true love until he meets Lolita and he undergoes the wrong relationship with her. He passes many events which ultimately lead them in death. Humbert’s pedophile is due by Annabel’s death and this moment makes him always look for a child who looks like Annabel’s figure and this figure just can be found in Lolita, and they undergo a wrong relationship till the end of Humbert’s life.
