Abstract

This is an experimental research wich is to increase comfortability the farmers when planting corn kernels. And when planting the kernels that tools become toughest. Because of that need the design of a corn kernels cultivation tools with an ergonomic approach. This research is use ergonomic appoarch with some methods wich are : (1) Anthropometric measurement so that tool can be match with human dimension (the farmers) (2) Muscle disorders for knows how much the degression muscle disorder rate is (3) Whecked measurement for knows how much the degression whecked rate is (4) Standar time measurement for know how much productivity enhancement is (5) Some part of tool is changed from plastic to stainless steel material for longest life time. This experimental result we’ve got : (1) 100% farmers was match with their body’s dimension (2) Muscle disorders decreased 23,57% (3) Whecked decreased 21,71% (4) working time decreased 5,32%.
