Abstract

In improving the economy, the dock is one aspect of infrastructure that plays an important role. The dock plays a role in the process of shipping goods so it is necessary to provide good service. The length of the pier can have an influence on the strength of the structure. Therefore the need for an analysis that takes into account the strength of the pier structure so that the pier is able to provide its maximum potential. Research at the Surabaya Container Terminal was analyzed to determine the performance of the structure and the strength of the structure against the influence of vertical and horizontal forces In this study the structure is modeled using the SAP.2000 v 21 program, to analyze cross-sectional reinforcement such as shear, bending, and torsion in beams, columns and analyze the behavior of the structure. Furthermore, structural analysis of the earthquake was carried out with reference to the Design Criteria Standards for Ports in Indonesia, Procedures for Calculation of Concrete Structures for SNI 03-2847-2019 Buildings, Technical Standards for Port and Harbor Facilities in Japan. The results of this analysis show that the cross-section still meets the requirements with the results of the internal forces on the SNI 2847:2019 cross-section still being able to carry the loads that work on the pier at this time until 2021. Crane beams on the pier are close to critical or safe limits with a minimum blanket thickness of < 10 mm with Safety Factor of flexural reinforcement in 2021 = 0.41. From the results of the structural analysis, it can be categorized that this domestic jetty is still capable, only experiencing a decrease in the serviceability of the structure due to the blanket thickness of less than 75 mm on the crane beam elements.
