Abstract

Mitigasi bencana merupakan serangkaian upaya untuk mengurangi risiko bencana, baik melalui pembangunan fisik maupun penyadaran dan peningkatan kemampuan menghadapi ancaman bencana dan mengurangi dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan bencana. Penelitian ini berusaha mencari makna denotasi, konotasi, dan mitos mitigasi bencana pandemi pada film "Contagion". Menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis semiotika Roland Barthes. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan dengan menemukan makna denotasi,konotasi, dan mitos yang merepresentasikan tindakan mitigasi bencana pandemi.
