Abstract

Project development Building Parkir and Teaching Hospital Syarifah Ambami Rato Ebu Bangkalan which has been planned for the year 2017 is calculated to be swallowed budget costs amounted to Rp. 10,276.709,300.00.Where this is not accompanied by the provision of an existing budget, which is only 2.7 billion rupiah. Besides that project location is planned to be adjacent to the east area of hospital and in the middle of residential areas with a pile foundation with Drop Hammer erection. Because of two reasons main that so that needs to be done saving the cost and it is necessary to find an alternative solution to the use of pile foundations by implementing Value Engineering. In this study, the applied Value Engineering method consists of the information stage, the creative stage, the analysis stage and the recommendation/presentation stage. Through the application of engineering value on development project it obtained two items of work that the greatest potential unnecessary costs is Pile Material Work Spoon pile Ø 50 cm K-600 and Job Cast Poer Tread foundation 180x180x50. The results of the study have concluded that the cost of the use of the foundation design of the early foundation of Spoon pile Ø 50 cm is amounting to Rp. 2,665,075,017.12 with the best alternative as a substitute material, is the use of pile foundations mini pile 25x25 cm amounting to Rp.522,789,244.55.There is a difference in the cost savings of Rp.2,142,285,772.57 (80.38%). Besides that, the use offoundation mini pile 25x25 cm were able to finish the job just in time of 23 days compared with the use of foundation spoon pile which requires time during the 32 days that occur efficiency when implementing construction.
