Abstract

This research to interpret the company's financial performance as well as to know the value-added economics that can be produced by the company with company performance. The company's financial performance is measured by using Financial Ratio Analysis, Economic Value Added (EVA). This research object is one of industrial company in Indonesia that is PT. Astra International Tbk, with the research period 2010-2014. The type of research is descriptive research that is the research that describes the condition of the company trying to tell the existing problem solving based on the data. This research is not used a hypothesis because this research is just to describe, explain the causal relationship, make a prediction and get the result of a problem ang want to be solved in this case is how the development of financial performance of company during period of research. The data used are secondary data in the from of financial statements. The result of the research shows the general financial performance of PT. Astra International Tbk classified as less good. This is indicated by the ratio figures generated by the company is in good category although some sort of ratio is classified always decreases every year. Value Economic Value Added (EVA) PT. Astra International Tbk in the period 2010-2014 mostly shows positive and increasing value every year. Performance measurement using Economic Value Added (EVA) can be used as a consideration for investors who want to invest
