Abstract

Costs are important in carrying out construction work including road construction work. Most of the national roads in East Java are in good condition, but there are still roads with mild damage, moderate damage and severe damage. The purpose of this study was to describe the condition of National road damage and routine maintenance costs in the environment of the National Road 1 Implementation Unit of East Java and to analyze the effect of routine road maintenance costs on good road conditions and severely damaged road conditions. This research is included in the study with a quantitative descriptive analysis approach. Collecting data in this study is using secondary data sources in the form of Summary of the Condition of the Roads of East Java Province Based on (IRI) and (SDI) by the East Java Region 1 National Road Implementation Unit. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis. The results in this study indicate that: (1) the condition of the National Road Region 1 based on IRI can be seen the damage of the medium category is 51.00% of the length of 223.4 km. (2) The condition of the National Region 1 Road based on SDI can be seen as a moderate category damage of 35.41% of the length of 153.93 km. (3) Routine Maintenance Costs for National Road Conditions Region 1 based on IRI is greater than based on SDI.
