Abstract

Risk management in the construction of buildings is important to do. By carrying out risk management, it is hoped that the construction of building infrastructure will achieve the right, timely and quality project targets. One risk that occurs is the delays in project work. The work of developing the Trowulan People's Market in Mojokerto Regency was in accordance with the agreed contract time, which was 240 days due to delays. The cause of the delay could be due to the difficult site location, weather, availability of materials, lack of material storage, main equipment that often experiences traffic jams in use, or due to environmental disturbances. Therefore, risk analysis in the development of the Trowulan People's Market in Mojokerto Regency is important to do. By carrying out risk management, it is hoped that market development can achieve the right project target cost and time. The objectives of the study are (1) Obtaining risks that affect the losses and delays in the development project of the People's Market in Trowulan Mojokerto Regency, (2) Analyzing the causes of risk in market construction construction activities. The results of the study were (1) After grouping risks using the Probability Impact Matrix, 11 risks are included, including high risk, 3 moderate risks, 6 low risks and 7 very low risks. (2) Factors that influence high risk are material and equipment factors, as well as contractual factors. Factors that influence moderate risk are labor and material and equipment factors. Factors affecting moderate and low risk are force majeure factors, material and equipment factors, labor factors.
