Abstract

Delays in the work of building the project implementation often occur from year to year so the impact on project quality. Formulation of the problems in this research is : 1. By the factor of : transportation, weather, resource officers, implementation and supervision, where the most dominant factor cause of the project progress delay of building projects of Human Affairs Department of Public Works in Central Kalimantan Province. 2. How these factors influencing the project progress delay of building projects of Human Affairs Department of Public Works in Central Kalimantan Province. The factors causing the delay is very important to know in order to anticipate and avoid delays later. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that are considered the most dominant cause of thedelay. This research method using descriptive analysis with tools questionnaire. The survey questionnaire consisted of 53 respondents from public works; PPK 10 respondents, 5 respondents Directors, Supervisors 8 respondents, 6 respondents Bappeda officials, employees of the Inspectorate 6 respondents, Team 2 respondents, nine respondents Contractors, and Consultants 7 respondents. The results showed that the factors causing delays in project implementation time is of the weather.
