Abstract

The background to the problem of water needs for various purposes increased from time to time in line with an increase in population and changes in water use patterns caused by technological advances, industrial growth, and changes in land use. From the existing problems, some formulation of the problems was obtained as a basis for identifying the estimation of the presence of ground water, among others, 1). how the magnitude of the infiltration rate in the study area in relation to the influence of land use conditions, 2). how the results of geoelectric interpretation use the Schlumberger configuration in estimating the aquifer layer based on consideration of the geohydrological aspects, and 3). how it affects the efficiency of time and costs. Based on the results of the analysis and calculation can be concluded several things, among others: 1). the amount of infiltration volume volume using the Horton method (q) taking into account the condition of land cover / land use (C) it is known that the average infiltration capacity in the soil at the study site per Year is more than 200 cm / year, and has a fairly effective infiltration ability so that the average per year can store water up to> 200 cm / year, 2). in the area the aquifer layer was found at a depth of 30-50 meters at GL 1, and GL at 22-55 meters, with the results of the analysis showing the ability of the land to infiltrate well and validated from the results of geoelectric investigations, and 3). Evaluation of the results of the analysis is able to streamline the amount of operational costs for ground water source investigation activities and implementation time.
