Abstract

Along with the growing number of urban residents, the contribution of domestic waste water pollution pollutes the environment such as groundwater and rivers, to cope with these conditions, the existing waste water needs to be managed properly and systematically using construction building of Sewage Treatment Plant / Instalasi Pengolahan Lumpur Tinja (IPLT). Needs Analysis of IPLT Based on Priority Scale District / City in the Province of Central Kalimantan was related to the methods of selecting the priority locations that would be built starting from the fiscal year 2017-2019, the used method was the scoring system and this drafting prioritiy needed to be supported by the data and analysis that could provide objective results. In the IPLT planning, the systems used were Imhoff tank, anaerobic pond, facultative pond, maturation pond and sludge dryers pond. Based on the results of Needs Analysis of IPLT based on Priority Scale District / City which was conducted in 14 districts / cities in Central Kalimantan Province with the goal of achieving universal access by 2019, the construction was done with the scale of priorities, then there were selected districts / cities as the locations for the construction of Sewage Treatment Plant / Instalasi Pengolahan Lumpur Tinja (IPLT) starting from the fiscal year 2017-2019.This analysis provides a toolkit in the process of prioritizing the construction of IPLT for the province that have limited budget to implement the construction of IPLT in the district / city. This is not the only way, and anyone can make modifications to both the weight and the factors to be considered.
