Abstract

Project delays are a problem that often occurs. This delay is very detrimental to the parties concerned. But the delay is inevitable because in every implementation there are various possibilities that can cause delay. The work to improve the Betoyo-Dagang Road inManyar District, Gresik Regency, also experienced obstacles. Ie, the contractor's delay in completing the work progress.In overcoming this, the researcher conducted a project acceleration analysis using the Time Cost Trade Off method. By determining the critical point. By using the PDM (Precedence Diagram Method) method assisted with Microsoft Project software. Determine the crash duration and crash cost on the job. By using two alternatives namely increasing the working hours and increasing the number ofheavy equipment. Then the cost slope is determined from the two alternatives, then a time and cost exchange analysis is done with a time cost trade off. The next step determines the most optimum work time, with the most cost efficient.The project's normal duration and costs are 162 days at a cost of Rp. 9,490,499,000. Whereas if the project experiences delays then the duration required is 162 days at a cost of Rp. 9,688,128,600. after the acceleration analysis is done using the Time Cost Trade Off method with the addition of working hours, the duration becomes 134.3 days with the cost after the acceleration of Rp. 9,513,256,000. Duration and cost after the acceleration analysis is done using the Time Cost Trade Off method with the addition of heavy equipment, ie the duration becomes 132.6 days. With costs after acceleration of Rp. 9,561,868,000. The most optimum duration and cost that must be applied is by acceleration using the addition of working hours.
