Abstract

Water usage from year to year continues to increase. This is due to the rapid population growth. This condition is inversely proportional to the increasingly limited availability of water sources. Therefore, it is necessary to study the potential of groundwater in each region.The purpose of this study is 1). Interpreting geoelectrical resistivity sounding data using IP2WIN software to determine the prediction of potential aquifers in Sumberwuluh Village, Dawarblandong, Mojokerto. 2). Interpreting geoelectric sounding resistivity data using RES2DINV software to determine the prediction of aquifer potential in Sumberwuluh Village, Dawarblandong, Mojokerto. 3). Evaluate the results of comparisons between IP2WIN and RES2DINV software. The method used in this research is software IP2WIN and RES2DINV.The results showed that: 1). Based on data processing IP2WIN software shows one layer of rock. Layers with apparent resistivity (⍴) = 68.5 Ω m, thickness (h) = 0.758 m and depth (d) = 0.758 m. Depth of 0.758 m, it is predicted that only water infiltration and not potential as an aquifer. 2). Based on data processing RES2DINV software shows a resistivity value of 1.75 -35 Ω m. Resitivity value 1.75 -4.12 Ω m is a layer with a soil water content with a blue contour color. Depth reaches 70.7 -85.4 with a blue contour which is estimated to be groundwater and potential as an aquifer. 3). Evaluation of the results of comparison of data processing between IP2WIN and RES2DINV software shows that RES2DINVis better at predicting aquifer potential
