Abstract

Local budget is one of the local financial policy needs to be appraised its performance. Based on the appraisal the achievement of goals and targets can be appraised. One of appraisal of financial performance is using the ratio analysis, among others: ratio of independency, ratio of efectivity, ratio of activity and ratio of growth. The samples of this study are eight cities in Province of East Java. The dates that had been analyzed including Local Budget, Product Domestic Regional Bruto, Labour/manpower, Foreign Investment and Domestic Investment, Product Domestic Regional Bruto per capita, rate of literacy, average of years for schooling, and rate of live expectancy. The collecting dates have been analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. The quantitative analysis used t-test technique and partial least square analysis. The performance have significant effect toward economical growth.
