Abstract

Groundwater is a water resource widely used by communities for hygiene and sanitation purposes. Domestic and environmental activities may affect water quality, therefore regular monitoring is necessary. This study aimed to determine the quality of spring water sources in Manisharjo Village, Ngrambe District, Ngawi Regency based on physical, chemical, and biological parameters, assess water quality status using the STORET method, and map water quality distribution using the Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW) method. The study was conducted at three spring water sources during three observation periods. In situ testing included temperature, pH, TDS, odor, and taste, while ex situ laboratory testing covered hardness, detergent, and Escherichia coli (E. coli). The analysis referred to the Indonesian Ministry of Health Regulation Number 32 of 2017. Water quality status was determined using the STORET method, while spatial mapping was carried out using ArcGIS with IDW interpolation. The results showed that TDS, odor, taste, and hardness parameters met the quality standards, whereas temperature, pH, detergent, and E. coli at several sampling points exceeded the permitted limits. STORET scores were -13 for spring source 1, -26 for spring source 2, and -29 for spring source 3, indicating that all spring water sources were categorized as moderately polluted. IDW mapping demonstrated variations in the spatial distribution of water quality across the study area. Penelitian dilakukan pada tiga sumber mata air selama tiga kali pengamatan. Pengujian dilakukan secara in situ meliputi suhu, pH, TDS, bau, dan rasa, sedangkan pengujian ex situ meliputi kesadahan, deterjen, dan Escherichia coli (E. coli). Analisis hasil pengujian mengacu pada Permenkes Republik Indonesia Nomor 32 Tahun 2017. Penentuan status mutu air menggunakan metode STORET, sedangkan pemetaan spasial dilakukan menggunakan ArcGIS dengan interpolasi IDW. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa parameter TDS, bau, rasa, dan kesadahan masih memenuhi baku mutu, sedangkan suhu, pH, deterjen, dan E. coli pada beberapa titik belum memenuhi standar. Nilai STORET pada sumber mata air ke-1 sebesar -13, sumber mata air ke-2 sebesar -26, dan sumber mata air ke-3 sebesar -29 sehingga seluruh sumber mata air tergolong tercemar sedang. Hasil pemetaan IDW menunjukkan adanya variasi persebaran kualitas air pada setiap lokasi penelitian.
