Abstract

A clinic accreditation management information system plays a crucial role in ensuring optimal healthcare service quality standards within a clinic. However, challenges such as limited data accessibility, restricted integration with related systems, and a lack of real-time monitoring frequently hinder clinic accreditation management. In this context, the utilization of REST APIs (Representational State Transfer Application Programming Interfaces) offers a promising solution. This final project aims to examine the use of REST APIs within clinic accreditation management information systems, focusing on enhancing efficiency, effectiveness, and service quality. REST APIs enable the integration of clinic information systems with external data sources—such as those tracking compliance with accreditation standards. By leveraging REST APIs, clinics can access real-time data, conduct more comprehensive analyses, and make more informed management decisions. The methodology employed in this study encompasses user requirements analysis, REST API design and development, integration with existing clinic accreditation information systems, and performance testing and evaluation of the developed API. An evaluation of the impacts and benefits derived from using REST APIs in clinic accreditation management information systems will also be conducted. This project is expected to contribute significantly to the development of more effective and integrated clinic accreditation management information systems. The use of REST APIs will create opportunities to improve operational efficiency, enhance service quality, and facilitate data-driven decision-making in clinic accreditation management.
