Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh struktur modal, inflasi, dan beban cukai terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan rokok yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode 2020–2024. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah struktur modal yang diproksikan dengan Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), inflasi yang diukur melalui persentase tahunan Indeks Harga Konsumen, serta beban cukai yang dihitung berdasarkan proporsi pita cukai terhadap pendapatan perusahaan. Kinerja keuangan sebagai variabel dependen diproksikan dengan Net Profit Margin (NPM). Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi linier berganda dan melibatkan empat perusahaan rokok yaitu PT Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP), PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM), PT Wismilak Inti Makmur Tbk (WIIM), dan PT Indonesian Tobacco Tbk (ITIC). Sebelum melakukan analisis regresi, dilakukan uji asumsi klasik yang meliputi uji normalitas, multikolinearitas, heteroskedastisitas, dan autokorelasi untuk memastikan kelayakan model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan struktur modal, inflasi, dan beban cukai berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan. Secara parsial, struktur modal memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap NPM, mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan utang berdampak pada penurunan profitabilitas perusahaan. Inflasi menunjukkan pengaruh negatif terhadap kinerja keuangan akibat meningkatnya biaya operasional dan menurunnya daya beli konsumen. Beban cukai terbukti memiliki pengaruh paling dominan terhadap penurunan NPM, mengingat porsinya yang sangat besar dalam struktur biaya perusahaan rokok. Kesimpulannya, perubahan kebijakan cukai, tingkat inflasi, serta pengelolaan struktur modal merupakan faktor utama yang menentukan stabilitas dan profitabilitas industri rokok di Indonesia. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi pertimbangan bagi manajemen perusahaan, investor, dan pembuat kebijakan dalam merumuskan strategi yang lebih efektif. Kata Kunci: Struktur Modal, Inflasi, Beban Cukai, Kinerja Keuangan, Net Profit Margin (NPM).
