Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penerapan Lean Management dalam proyek konstruksi kelistrikan pada Bozer Construction Unipessoal LDA di Timor Leste, dengan fokus pada peningkatan efisiensi dan produktivitas proyek. Latar belakang penelitian ini dilandasi oleh berbagai permasalahan yang umum terjadi di sektor konstruksi, seperti pemborosan sumber daya, keterlambatan proyek, dan rendahnya produktivitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, di mana data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi proyek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan prinsip Lean Management, khususnya Just-In-Time (JIT), Kaizen, dan Total Quality Management (TQM), memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap efisiensi penggunaan material dan waktu, serta peningkatan produktivitas tenaga kerja. Selain itu, penerapan Lean juga membantu dalam mengidentifikasi dan mengurangi berbagai bentuk pemborosan seperti waktu tunggu, kelebihan persediaan, dan kesalahan kerja. Namun, terdapat pula tantangan dalam implementasi lean, baik dari aspek internal (kurangnya pelatihan dan budaya kerja) maupun eksternal (keterbatasan teknologi dan keterlambatan pasokan material). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Lean Management dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kinerja proyek konstruksi kelistrikan, asalkan didukung oleh komitmen manajemen dan kolaborasi yang kuat antar pihak. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi baik secara teoretis maupun praktis bagi pengembangan manajemen proyek di sektor konstruksi, khususnya di negara berkembang.
