Abstract
Kabupaten Berau merupakan salah satu kabupaten di Provinsi Kalimantan Timur yang kaya wisata, tambang dan pertaniannya. Dengan sumber daya yang dimilikinya, Berau mampu menarik masyarakat dari luar daerah untuk berkunjung sebagai wisatawan maupun untuk bekerja yang mengakibatkan peningkatan kebutuhan akan transportasi udara. Akibat peningkatan tersebut, maka diperlukan juga analisis kebutuhan di masa yang akan datang agar apron dapat tetap melayani kebutuhan pesawat yang akan parkir di Bandar Udara Kalimarau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tebal perkerasan kaku dan biaya pada apron Bandar Udara Kalimarau Berau 20 tahun mendatang. Analisis tebal perkerasan kaku dilakukan dengan metode Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) dan Portland Cement Association (PCA), data yang digunakan meliputi karakteristik pesawat rencana Boeing 737-900ER, nilai modulus reaksi tanah dasar dan pergerakan pesawat tahunan. Hasil analisis metode FAA menghasilkan tebal perkerasan kaku sebesar 41 cm dengan biaya Rp 56.385.600.000 , metode PCA faktor kemananan tebal 37 cm dengan biaya Rp 51.806.400.000, dan metode PCA faktor kelelahan 33 cm dengan biaya Rp 47.227.200.000
