Abstract

Peningkatan permintaan lemari kaca pada CV. Nanda Jaya menyebabkan tingginya beban kerja di lini produksi yang berdampak pada keterlambatan output dan potensi kelelahan pekerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat beban kerja pada setiap stasiun kerja serta menentukan jumlah tenaga kerja optimal menggunakan metode Work Load Analysis (WLA) yang didukung dengan Stopwatch Time Study, performance rating, allowance, serta uji keseragaman dan kecukupan data. Pengamatan dilakukan sebanyak 30 kali pada delapan stasiun kerja, serta dilengkapi pengukuran denyut nadi dengan metode Heart Rate Reserve (HRR). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) proses Perakitan 1 memiliki waktu baku tertinggi dengan rata-rata 126,60 detik dan menjadi bottleneck, (2) beberapa stasiun kerja memiliki beban kerja >100% sehingga termasuk kategori overload, (3) jumlah tenaga kerja eksisting (8 pekerja) belum sesuai dengan kebutuhan ideal berdasarkan nilai FTE, dan (4) diperlukan redistribusi beban kerja serta penambahan pekerja pada stasiun kritis untuk mencapai keseimbangan lini. Dengan demikian, analisis WLA memberikan dasar perencanaan tenaga kerja yang lebih akurat dan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi produksi.
