Abstract

Gempa bumi merupakan fenomena yang berpotensi menyebabkan kerusakan infrastruktur bangunan, khususnya gedung bertingkat tinggi. Kondisi ini menjadi aspek penting dalam perencanaan bangunan tahan gempa, terutama dalam hal pemilihan sistem struktur bangunan. Struktur Rangka Bresing Konsentrik (SRBK) dengan kekakuan tinggi dari elemen bresing menjadi salah satu pilihan dalam perencanaan bangunan baja tahan gempa. Selain itu, telah dikembangkan sistem perlindungan seismik yaitu base isolation yang memisahkan pergerakan struktur dari tanah sehingga mengurangi dampak gaya gempa yang terjadi pada suatu bangunan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan perilaku serta level kinerja sistem rangka bresing konsentrik dan sistem rangka pemikul momen khusus yang dikombinasikan dengan base isolation pada variasi ketinggian 4 lantai, 8 lantai dan 12 lantai dalam menghadapi gaya gempa. Analisis perbandingan kedua sistem struktur menggunakan software ETABS dengan mengacu ketentuan desain struktur baja tahan gempa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan, kedua struktur memiliki level kinerja yang sama yaitu Life Safety (LS), namun dalam hal perbandingan nilai periode getar, gaya geser dasar, simpangan antar lantai, gaya dalam kolom serta tingkat daktilitas, struktur base isolation memiliki nilai yang lebih baik dari struktur rangka bresing konsentrik. Berdasarkan hasil perbandingan di setiap variasi ketinggian lantai, didapatkan bahwa struktur base isolation pada variasi bangunan 8 lantai merupakan sistem struktur yang paling optimal. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari selisih nilai simpangan antar lantai yang mencapai 70%, peningkatan periode getar sebesar 3,60, gaya geser dasar yang stabil pada arah X dan Y serta gaya dalam yang konsisten pada balok dan kolom. Selain itu, tingkat daktilitas pada arah X dan Y juga menunjukkan kestabilan yang lebih baik dari variasi lain.
